HOSPITAL DESIGN: PLANNING
CONSIDERATIONS FOR ANY GENERAL
HOSPITAL - BY AR. SANA SOHAIB
Modern medicine is going digital! New technology, embodied in "smart
healthcare," personalizes care, predicts health issues, and prioritizes
prevention over treatment. This shift puts patients first and revamps
healthcare from a one-size-fits-all approach to individual-focused care.
Hospitals are designed with this in mind, creating a smoother and more
personalized experience.
This transformation reflects the future of medicine, where technology meets
individual needs, improves efficiency, and enhances the overall healthcare
experience. Furthermore, thoughtful planning for hospitals, whether new or
renovated, is crucial to ensure facilities cater to the diverse needs of
patients, staff, and visitors.
AI TOOL OF THE MONTH: COMFYUI
BY AHMED BIN FAROOQ
Recently, I've been experimenting with ComfyUI, an interface for Stable
Diffusion. This AI tool lets me describe my ideas with text prompts and
instantly generate stunning visuals. It's like having a conceptual sculptor at
my fingertips, translating vague notions into intricate forms. ComfyUI sparks
inspiration and helps me explore possibilities before I even touch a pencil.
It's a powerful tool for early-stage design and a glimpse into the future of
architectural exploration.
