Mr. Sikandar Javed is working as Lecturer in the Department of Film & TV, School of Digital & Cinematic Art, Institute for Art & Culture (IAC), Lahore.
He did MA Filmmaking from the University of Bradford, UK in 2021. He has 5-years of experience in the field of freelance filmmaking as a Director, Screenplay Writer and Documentary Filmmaker. He completed his MS Film & TV form Beaconhouse National University in 2019 and achieved Thesis Distinction for his thesis film “The Café”. He won awards for Best Film, Best Director and Best Screenplay Writer for his film “The Cafe” in the Thesis Screening 2019, Department of Theatre, Film & TV, BNU. Mr. Sikandar has 3 years of teaching experience as visiting faculty at Beaconhouse National University, University of Central Punjab and The Superior University. Furthermore, he did a short Course in Directing the Documentary form NFTS, UK and attended the masterclasses on Music Video & Commercials by Laura Northover, BLINK, UK in University of Bradford.
