Sameeha Qadeer Ahmad is a Graphic Designer, Illustrator, and Concept Artist for animation and video games. She has completed her MFA in Book Illustration from the College of Art and Design, Punjab University, Lahore, and her MA in Multimedia Arts from the National College of Arts, Lahore with a Distinction. Being an educator for 14 years, she has been working on portraying the local culture of Pakistan in digital medium through book illustrations, paintings, and concept art for animation and video games.
She has ample experience in curriculum development and is an animation instructor for core areas such as drawing, digital painting, Illustration, and animation design studios. Her creative practice explores the field of research that concerns the complex relationship between historical and cultural identity and how this exists in the South Asian cultural context. She has displayed her work nationally, in various group exhibitions. She also has industry experience in a game studio for 2 years holding a position of CG artist. Sameeha currently holds an Assistant Professor position in the Institute of Art and Culture.
